Take away ordered…. Delivered in reasonable time, arrived “just” warm.
Absolutely the most bland curry I’ve ever had. Great there was 40% off, but at the expense of any real flavour at all.
Never again. So much choice around the area, all of them better than this.

Booked for a very large group for a Sunday night before Christmas. We were running late. Phoned ahead to apologise & was assured it wasn't a problem.
Everyone's food was great, all came out pretty much together & the staff were amazing.

We have been to the Taj Mahal several times over the years and have had an excellent experience every single time we have been there. The food is superb and excellent value for money and the staff are fantastic. I have no hesitation in recommending the Taj Mahal.

My entire family got gastroenteritis after ordering food from here,apart from one who said he would pick up a McDonalds on the way over,I will NEVER order anything from this rancid place again

We ordered an Indian for delivery. We thought it was quite overpriced but we never mind paying for quality food. This however, was not the case. The curry was not made with cream and butter as advertised, instead we had water running off the plate and the curry looked and smelt like a watery onion soup. Poppadoms and naan bread were fine. Rice - overpriced.
Currys, didn't get eaten and sadly got thrown in the bin which is an awful shame as we hate wasting food, but this was inedible.
We paid for the privalige but will not be ordering from here again. We were left hungry and had to order elsewhere. Would not recommend.

Worst curry EVER. Found a random glazed dessert cherry in my korma, was given the wrong drink, chicken tasted microwaved, korma sauce was watery, portions were small and too expensive.
Wouldn’t be mad about the price if the food was actually good, but this was diabolically disgusting and disappointing. Won’t be ordering from here again! Hoping I get a refund for this! yuck 😓😓

Perfectly cooked, flavoursome food, which arrived quickly with a choice of dipping sauces. Great service from the team, nice cocktails and fairly priced. Servings are large and tasty. I'll definitely be visiting again.

Once again, an impeccable meal combined with faultless service, made this evening with visiting family so memorable. They were really impressed with the flavoursome curries and the selection of pickles supplied with the poppadoms, better than their local restaurant was their departing comment. The proprietor takes pride in the service of the staff and is extremely attentive and friendly.

Absolutely top shelf. We were on holiday close-by from glasgow and found Taj Mahal on just eat. We ordered for collection but had no idea it was a 40 minit drive away. I'm so glad we had already paid for it because it's one of the best I've had yet. We had a welcome second to none, and the owner threw in some bits and pieces to keep us going for the drive back to the house. 10/10 all round, thanks guys x

We're not regular curry house visitors but whenever we do out to curry it's here: Taj Mahal. Never a bad curry and it's in my top 5 curry houses in the UK. Brilliant chefs, courteous and polite waiting staff and the owner is a lovely guy. Recommended.
07/06/24: came out for an unplanned meal out with my wife and we worked out that we've been coming since sometime in early 2008,not long after we'd moved to Telford from Manchester. So, 15 years after our first visit - we keep going back. Wonderful staff, a lovely owner, and exquisite food! Still recommended.

Dined here for the second time, some 4 years after our last visit.
Quality of food and service is excellent, we were in a large party and food arrived quickly and to everyone's satisfaction. We even took dessert home with us.

One of the best restaurants we’ve been to in a long while! My husband and I visited last month and honestly can’t fault anything about it! Fabulous food. Fabulous service! Great atmosphere! Wish we lived closer as that would be iur place to go. Roger was the perfect host!

Food is ok, but I advise you to never, ever give these people your phone number as they spam you with text messages/offers. It seems they also share your details with third parties as another Indian place in the area I’ve never been to has been sending me messages/ads as well.

Firstly... I hate giving bad reviews... but I have to be honest..
Awful Food!! Shocked at such a high 4.4 rating on Google... It's definitely not accurate! If you can't get Dhal right then something is definitely wrong. Spent over £30 to get home and be disappointed from having food laced with big chunky onions, garlic, seasonings that don't blend/belong in the food at all!! It was REALLY BAD! My Garlic rice wasn't even fried and the whole food tasted bland and lacking salt... Even the naan was questionable.
Nonetheless...Staff appeared polite on the phone which is why I have rated the service highly! But that's literally where it stops! Which is sad as it's a nice building but clearly poor quality of food!
